MMS

MMS messages (Multimedia Messaging Service) — it’s more functional variation of well-known SMS-messages. Unlike SMS, MMS allows to send bigger text messages, photos, music and video files. For instance, on the birthday of your fellow you can send him not only warm greetings, but also attach to it merry picture or song.

If your mobile phone has a camera, just now taken photo or recorded video can be sent to another mobile phone.

In order to use MMS service, you need:

1. If GPRS-WAP+MMS+Internet service has not activated in your phone yet, it can be done by USSD-request to number 1110011 or by SMS –message with figure 1 to 616001 number (availability of activated GPRS-WAP+MMS+Internet service is necessary for MMS messages exchange).
2. To get personal settings for you phone model by “Setting” service, calling to short number 0876. You should get messages with settings and save it in your phone.

In case if a MMS-message has been sent to the phone, which does not support MMS, the system sends to the phone a SMS-message with link to Internet address, where it’s possible to view the full version of MMS. MMS-message can be sent not only from one mobile phone to another, but also from the phone to E-mail address of the addressee.

While sending MMS messages the number of the recipient should be entered in international format.

Only outgoing messages are ratified, not depending of the message size.
